A fellow AZer suggested that the Wanted/For Sale section to be improved by including a formated page to make the buying, selling and trading process become smoother. I totally agree. Below is a "suggested" format. This is merely a suggestion. Please feel free to add or subtract anything you feel. This is just a tool to help us all.

I hope the Mods are watching. I would like to see the W 4 S section improved. Include a formated page when someone lists a cue for instance. You would have a place to list shafts lenghth weight butt Length and weight so on. Less than half the cues listed have enough info. That require endless Pm,s trying to get specs.
Please add responses Thanks

I totally agree. I feel that having a standard format/template would make buying, selling and trading a lot smoother. Below is an "idea" of a format we could follow. This is just a suggestion. Please feel free to input your ideas.

It was just a suggestion off a previous post.

Why does everyone have to do things the same way to make them correct?

No one said anything about correct or incorrect. Per the previous post it was a suggestion. I personally hate it when I receive PM's asking me for more details (some that are not even related to what I am trying to buy sell or trade) that could easily be avoided by listing the obvious.

Case in point, I just bought an item from a new AZer that didn't have the slightest clue on how to post what they were selling. So after a few PM's working out the details, our transaction was complete.

Like I said before this is just a suggestion.

Don't like this. People need to stop making threads here about this sort of thing. This section is fine.

What is for sale here?
Oh, wait...Another "KNOW IT ALL" type of guy with another "BRILLIANT" idea of how to run someone else's site.
I am reporting this.

so what happens if the person doesnt have the specs, for instances no scale, weight? it still would be a bunch of blanks..just a thought

I love this suggestion as a matter of fact I'm sure I have suggested something similar several times in the past.

There isn't anything wrong with this section. There never has been and I stand corrected. My intentions were good. I read a post and tried to be proactive and provide a suggestion. I didn't realize how negative AZers viewed this.

Screw y'all Forum police. How do you think the stickies happen in this forum? It's some poster with a good suggestion in a thread. It's just a suggestion people....geez.

Personally, I am sick and tired of posting info and then getting a kagillion PM's for every minute detail. I'm gonna try this out, but add balance point also to my listings.

We might as well sell something...

The Million Dollar Challenge PCA Package Now Available - 3 DVDs - $39.99 at www.cjwiley.com . TOI and all Instructional DVDs HALF PRICE (while supplies last)

So your suggestion on how to improve the site is to first break the rules by posting something that doesn't belong???

No improvements can be made as long as people like you continue to start threads like this - in the very section that you claim you want to improve.

How about this - follow the freakin rules, get a few dozen transactions under your belt, then tell me about a cookie cutter template for custom made one of a kind cues, k?

I don't know how helpful this can be when many sellers wouldn't begin to know how to fill out such a form. Personally, I've found that most questions can be answered to 95+% satisfaction with a combination of the following: good description, good or decent pics, PM or email exchanges and/or a phone call....in other words communication. A form can't replace that.

If someone's got a question on a listing, contact the seller, either via PM, email or phone. It's pretty simple really. No need to bump the thread !!!!!!!!!!!!

If everyone follows this simple approach, this section will run as smooth as a shaft-drive BMW motorbike......and if you don't know, that's damn smooth.

Von Rhett & cueaddicts' posts were succinct and well stated.
You like the format....use it......but most people wouldn't know how to and probably will record wrong info.
Frankly, campaigning for a change that you prefer, when the status quo works just fine, is just a dumb idea.
There's no better substitute for just speaking with a cue seller over the phone and discussing the cue in detail.

Please be more specific with you motor bike reference. ie

year and model
Number of cc;s
off road or street tires
turn signals or brake light only.

Come on man. Everyone knows it is all about the details.
