Suggestion on balls

I'm wanting to order some new billiard balls, but the choices are great. I'm not interested in anything fancy--just a good set of balls.

I'm looking at the standard belgian aramith ($59) or the premium set for $79. What's the difference? And why are the Super Pro Aramith so much more expensive. Do they play differently?

Any suggestions on balls would be appreciated. I would like to stay under $100, but I want good balls.

thanks, JED

I would go with the super aramith pro or brunswick centennial balls. They play the best and most consistent.

Have you compared the super aramith to the premium aramith?

I have played with both and if you only have 100 to spend then the premium will do just fine for you. If you have the extra 30 bucks to kick in then by all means get the super pro.

I think the only difference in the premiers and the standards is that one of them has the numbers inside of the stripes instead of in the white field of the ball. If you can somehow afford it, the super pros or centenials are noticeably better. Good luck.
