Summer time blues.

Anyone else have the summer blues? for some reason I just don't have the itch to get on the table. I do surf A LOT...in the ocean I mean...usually I play every other day, now it's maybe once a week. anyway, I was just wondering if you all go through the same stuff....BTW, we had some GREAT waves over the weekend....without the shark factor<<< we live in the shark bite capitol of the world!

Well, the surfing around here just sucks; so it's just pool for us, here in the middle of the Great Corn Forest.

I guess I'm new enough at the game (about 4 years) that I haven't lost the desire to play yet; still try to play or practice about every day.

Well I am about the opposite of everyone else. I really do not like the summer, even more so now that I am out of school. I just can't stand the heat and humidity, and I live in Canada!!!!

As a result I take refuge in the air conditioned pool rooms, thus I play more in the summer.

I've got it, but mainly because it is so and humid all the time, I don't want to go out at all. Can't walk a block without being soaking wet, even at night.

Best Summer Ever

This has been the best summer I've ever had. I'm spending it hanging out with my 5 year old before he starts school and finds out his old man ain't all that. I'm handling our twin 19 month olds solo with no problems and playing alot of pool ( 20 hours aweek on the average. Great summer. My dad plays golf all summer and never touches his bowling ball, around October first he puts the clubs away and bowls in a couple of leagues. Doesn't touch his clubs again until after the Masters.

yep...I told myself I was going to play through the summer just like I tell myself every year and just like every year I don't. Havent played in about 1 1/2 to 2 months. I even told myself THIS time it will be different. I think it upset me enough though that I really am going to hit it hard from hear out...who knows. I sold my table a while back so as long as I stay broke I can't afford it to play every day. I'm good enough to win my table time but that leads to drinking and well...thats another story.
