It's happening!! Where are you??

I'm right here at the Convention Center on the lower level and there are 80 tables set up for tournament play and another 16 for practice at a quarter a rack.

There are definitely more booths here that i was lead to believe were going to be here - Run Out Sportswear, a cue repair booth, Meullers, Ride the 9, Viking, and the usual suspects from the March show, probably about 60 booths.

So wherre are the players? There are Diamond 7-ft Pros just waiting!!!

Their wifi works downstairs?!?!? There was hardly a cellular signal to be found past the bottom steps as best as I can remember.

I'll be down Sat... if the wifi works down there, I might just bring my laptop for some updates.... ;)

Well Barbara, if it is a serious question, it is just too much expense for me to do that twice in a year. Now as soon as I get that winning lottery ticket...
Besides, my wife behind a smiling facade would be steaming. :D
Have fun.

Nutsssss, uuummmm Barbara has good nutssssss! :D

I wish I was there as well, but as mentioned above, it is way to costly for us once a year, let alone twice...:(

What is the player participation like? How many do you have in all the fields?

Keep us posted!

I had a very great show last time(and the first time) at the Super Billiards Expo, Dawn and Allen put up the best show.

I will be going to Baltimore to check out the BCA on 10 August, so I will not be there this time.

Best wishes,

Richard

Sorry Scott, even though I've got a great new stove, making the nuts in the summertime with the humidity makes them less than I would like to give out. I care about my product and only want to give out the best!

Eydie,

It's off. We had 123 for the Open event and are still taking sign-ups for all the rest of the events until the Player's Meeting of that event, but you have to start somewhere. And we're running a TON of mini tournaments. All kinds. The format is an 8-man mini, winner take-all, $10, $20, $50, and even a $100 entry if there's enough interest. Format is race to 5 for open, race to 4 for women only. Juniors play for free for prizes.

Not as many booths as I thought - probably 20. And there are 16 practice tables for 25 cents a rack.

A lot lighter work for us desk people. :)

Is there guaranteed added money, and if so how much?

Wish I could come, not to play but to hang out with you all..

So far, the Open payout has been posted. $2500 for first and we can't remember what's next. Sorry. Brain fart. (I hate when that happens)

Get use to it. Their frequency only increases as time goes on. :( Now what was I typing about .... :)

Sounds like fun, sure wish I was there!:(

Ya'all have some nuts for me, ok?

Who are the vendors there? Any new products? VF is always the very best place to showcase a new product.

VF Rocks!

How many players are in the events. Just a ball park figure will do.

Is the usual downstairs action area set up this time?

Just wondering if it's as big as the usual expo with billions of people there, or is it a little smaller?

Thanks
