I heard from Eydie Romano this evening, and she's suffering from a back injury she sustained in an automobile accident several weeks ago. Not only is she in extreme pain, taking some heavy meds which don't provide any relief, but she is completely bummed out that she cannot make it to Valley Forge this week. :(

The Super Billiards Expo is one of those once-a-year events that most people in the pool racket don't want to miss. Because this particular one seems to attract such a large number of players of all caliber, pool enthusiasts, and fans, literally from around the world, it's a guaranteed weekend of entertainment, depending on what you're looking for. ;)

The Meet and Greet will still be on at 7:00, Saturday, March 19th, at Chumleys, the bar in the Radisson Hotel. If I am able to get there beforehand, I will try to secure an area for the AzBilliard attendees, but due to the uncertain tournament scheduling, I'm not sure if I'll be able to swing the logistics. I'm posting this in hopes that somebody may come up with a suggestion about getting to that bar ahead of time to secure a little area for us. Do you all think that is necessary, or should we all just show up?

eydie, wish you could be there, and hope you get well soon. do me a favor and sue the hell out of the ppl that hit ya ;) JAM, i think we should make some kind of reservation, as it sounds like alot of ppl will be showing up. maybe we could have a sign up sheet at someones booth for definite attendees. just a suggestion. joey

due to a steadily increasing busy schedule i seem to have lately, i won't be able to make it to philly this weekend.

JAM - what's up - we missed you guys last weekend - not sure if you heard but Niels won in Salisbury. We sure did miss seeing you there.

Anyway - seeing as I missed you last weekend, I'll try to catch up with you at Chumley's or somewhere around the center!

Hi All,

As JAM said, I am extreemly bummed.

About 3 weeks ago, I was sitting at a red light, talking on the phone, minding my own business. All of a sudden my truck got rear ended so hard, that it set the phone flying. My back and neck have not been the same since. Last Thursday, they diagnosed it a 3 ruptured disks and nerve damage and a whole bunch of doctor words. They have me on a lot of meds and there is just no way I can make it.

I do have a room available at the Scanticon if anyone is interested. I will check back here later tonight to see if anyone PM me about it.

Have a good time, I am really going to miss you guys!

Thanks for the kind wishes, take plenty of pictures and have a drink for me.

What nights do you have the room at the Radisson for? I might be able to take that one off of your hands. I'll know this afternoon whether or not my wife and I are coming down for this.

We missed y'all, too, NineballCC. I've been anxiously awaiting a FULL REPORT on the Planet Pool 9-Ball website for the inquiring minds back home. Plus, I enjoy seeing the pictures. The pool print media has only released the top four finishers, and I was hoping to see how some others made out in the tournament.

We will have some fun, NineballCC! I heard that AzBilliards is providing some stickers for the members at the SBE, which is kind of neat. That way, we'll be able to see who's who from the name tags! There's going to be lots of activities going on. We're looking to buy a new cue case, and I always end up buying some of the shirts on sale at the booth right next door to Leonard Bludworth's on the first floor.

We're leaving tomorrow morning! See you there! :)
