Allen, the fact that there is not a hotel connected to the new location just doesn't work for my wife and I as we have to go back and forth to our room several times a day. Do you know if the hotel, to be constructed, will be large enough for a high number of Expo attendees in addition to your staff and the vendors?
I'm just wondering if I have attended my last Expo.
Hi Rich, yes, not having a hotel attached is definitely an inconvenience. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to move - as the old venue has closed and is being reconstructed into a casino.
We feel that the new place is a great option though - it is right down the road, twice as big, and all located on one floor (no more stairs!)
I do not know many details about the new hotel slated to be built - they have just told us they are planning to build one. I would imagine that they will consider the proper occupancy rates to run major tradeshows, as that is their main business, and they will surely be getting lots of new business since the VF Conv Center is shutting down/changing business.
I hope it is not your last Expo either!

Hope this info helps.
