Super Billiards Expo

I hope to make it on Thursday just to check out a few things and say hello to friends. Can't do multiple days or the whole event anymore with my back. Last time I went for whole event I spent 2 of the 4 days in the hotel room in pain.

In my 20 plus year of going it was only complete free for 2 years when it was in jersey and I a few years they had a couple tables the pro’s played on the main floor for early rounds.

This is why pool doesn’t have a chance . Players are cheap lol people will pay $100 a seat to sit in the nose bleed seats for a 4 hour nfl game but to pay $20 to see the best players in the country play for a 4 hour session is to much lol It’s only $20 if you sit in the vip section it was $10 for the bleachers I believe. Sorry don’t mean to pick on you but I hear that a lot and it always cracks me up.

I must have caught it in the one year it was free then, I thought it was free up till a few years ago. The thing with the pro players is that we have a ton of free events to go see them at, and also to play with casually. I went to many local tournaments with world champions that played, Joss tours, Predator tours, the old Seminole tour, etc...

A lot harder to visit Brady and toss the ball with him, but I played on Jayson Shaw's personal table in his pool room a few times, and matched up with Dechaine at Snookers. As I'm sure many of us have done similar things.

It may have been. In jersey thier was no way to really close off the make shift pro arena. I thought it was cool at first but then realized it was terrible. While the pro arena is always dark and quiet this was like a lunch room. People were popping in and out just looking for a place to sit and loudly talking to each other and on thier phones. It took a way from the whole experience. After that I didn’t mind paying.

I hear what your saying getting to see them for free but Allen puts out a lot of money and time to put on this even so I get he’s trying to make a profit some where.
