Super expo at Valley Forge, HELP ! !

I have been to the expo website, I have looked here. I can't find what the price of admission is. I don't want to shoot pool. At this kind of event, do the exhibitors have old cue sticks or just new ? What does it cost to watch ? What does it cost do see the exhibitors?

If I remember correctly, general admission is $10 a day. That gets you into all the booths, & you can watch all of the amateur & league events. The charge for the Pro tourney & the trickshot show varies and is somewhere between $10 & $20 if I'm not mistaken. I was lucky the last two yrs to have gotten a players pass from a friend and three yrs ago was my first time so the price doesn't really stick out in my mind. The pro event is split up into two sessions and you will have to pay to get into both sessions.

Does anyone know if the people walking around will be carrying cues in cases hoping to sell old cues???? Is that allowed? I'm wanting to buy one.Hopefully.

No, it's not allowed and anyone caught trying to sell anything without being an official vendor will be escorted off the premises for the duration of the Expo by security.

Barbara, correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know whether or not he was thinking in terms of selling to an individual or a vendor, I think it makes a difference. If he wanted to sell an old cue to a vendor who is a dealer, can he do that?

I believe it's okay to strike a bargain with an established vendor, but I'm not a 100% sure.

Last year I paid $25 for a three day pass, this did not include any entry to the pro tournaments.

Of course you can wheel and deal with the vendors while you are there. Trade away!

What they look down upon is people walking in with anything over a 3x5/4x8 case and trying to peddle their goods to anyone that will buy.

There are a number of exhibitors who deal in both old and new cues, some of which are highly collectable, but not all.
