Could someone please explain the differences between Aramith SuperCrystalate balls vs a phenolic resin type ball?

The Aramith super crystallate balls ARE made of phenolic resin. All I could infer from ball sets marked as "super crystallate" is that they have more intense color that other balls.

I have no clue, but I would like to know just from curiosity.

Chemist speaking here: The crystalate balls have a higher degree of cross linking and are therefore harder (less likely to ding) as well as heavier.

supercrystalate balls and aramith are both 144 grams, but the weight is spread out different,
superC= 144gr with most of the weight in the middle(much like a baseball)
aramith balls=144gr with weight distrubuted evenly around the whole ball.
other balls= junk
many good players will say aramith are harder to drawback, but topspin and stuns is easier to control. they seem to play heavier.
superC pulls back more, plays a little different, cue ball seems to mark faster. both balls are good and bad depends on how you play and conditions come into effect,cloth-humidity etc.
both balls are made by the same company but aramith tournament balls are mostly used.
