Support the BEF and help spend Dr. Dave's money

I have contributed to this very worthy effort for 2 years in a row
It would be a shame to break the pattern now. :grin-square:

Seriously, thank you for your support in the past.

and Dr. Dave should be commended for taking this on
Thanks. It is a very worthy cause.

Bravo to all who helped him meet his goal this year.
Ditto.

BTW, don't forget that this donation is a tax deduction. I am always grateful when doing my taxes each year to have a few deductions.
...
Also, be on the lookout for some of these BEF players when they need to travel overseas. Last year, I think it was Juice who was trying to help a local Texan Joey Bourgeois Jr. from Baytown, TX with expenses, so he could represent the U.S. in South Africa last year. What a great opportunity! These are the kinds of worthy efforts that help American pool flourish.
Thank you for adding this.

Best regards,
Dave

Okay, so some would say I'm a sucker, others may say I hope for too much, some people just call me an @#%$^$%&.. but, how about this..

I already put up my $25, which Dave doubled.

I'm willing to put up another $25 to whomever is willing to donate $25 with an offer to match $25 of the next person in line.

I put $25 up. Person A puts $25, so do I. Person B puts $25, so does person A. Person C puts $25, so does person B and so on.

I'm just a desk jockey, so this is just a one person offer by me. :embarrassed2:
Who is going to take Banks up on his offer? Matching funds really help build the total quickly.

Please consider contributing,
Dave

PS: FYI, this is the last of my fundraising efforts (for this year), but I hope people will still use the thread to contribute between now and Junior Nationals.

Ken,

Please let us know when and how much you contribute so I can update the current totals.

Thank you,
Dave

You're welcome.

It was $25, donated just prior to my post. It looks like someone else got the last of your $500 pledge before I got mine in.

An unmatched $25 is still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. ;)

Thanks! And I'm sorry I let somebody else steal the "glory" of the final match-qualifying donation to reach the original $1K goal.

That brings the current totals to:

AZB user contributions: $575
Dr. Dave's match (up to $500 maximum): $500

Grand total raised for the BEF and Juniors to date: $1,075

Regards,
Dave
