A guy came through town and let me try out his jump break that he called a "ballbusta" This thing is incredible, it's made out of dymonwood, has a weird coke bottle taper and a dymonwood shaft. I've never seen a rack of nine ball explode at my hands, but this thing murders the balls. I've been poking around trying to find some info on these and all I've found is a mention in Ribdoner's profile. I talked the guy out of it for a princely sum, I'm confident it will pay for itself in no time. I haven't played on the bar tables in years, but look out, with the ballbusta, I'm usually only needing to pocket the three or four balls that stayed on the table. If you find one and have the means, you're gonna want to pick one of these up. I'll post up some pics ASAP.

It indeed sounds like a BALLBUSTA. If your cue is mostly green it's the mighty GODZILLA from the "R" (reptile) batch. I have the RED DRAGON. They are MONSTERS. The DRAGON'S shaft weighs 6.2oz while I've heard that ZILLA's shaft tips the scales at a whopping 6.8oz. I'm surprised that Prince Abdul Sharmutmenucki (ZILLA's original owner) sold it, unless he was barred from using it because he adamized too many 1 balls in his homeland's only poolroom. Besides damage to the first 3 balls in the rack, rails, ( uptable from wing pockets) will resemble putty in no time.

Don't forget to post pics....

I would go

with X Breaker, and from the sounds of it the new X2 tip. I have tried Sledge, Stinger, Bk, and others and was not impressed that much.

$ for $, I think you get the most from the J&J, but for the best quality, I would still go with the X Breaker. They take a Scientific attitude, research, and strive to constantly improve their product, which I like.

Although, I must admit, my interest has been tweaked about Varney's Break/JUmp cues.

yep my choice is down to the xbreaker and a varney break cue, from what i hear they both are top quality

Saad if this is you, I will let you try my xbreaker the next time I am in Chicago, or if you go to Nationals. You have a big break, I'm sure you will really like the xbreaker.
