Touching on another thread, I watched a good portion of this match and noticed a couple of things.
1. For what I would consider very little money for these two, they both played extremely well and did not appear to take any unnecessary chances.
2. (Touching on the other thread) there were quite a few times where the last ball or two was conceded but there were other times it was not. In one particular instance Lee Van ran out a moderately difficult rack to get almost straight in on the 10 with the 10 being frozen to the rail (so it appeared) approximately 1 1/2 diamonds from the corner pocket and the cue ball just on the other side of the side pocket. Maybe by a diamond. Not necessarily a gimme but certainly one you would think these two would make 10 out of 10 times. Shane made Lee Van shoot it and Lee Van missed it leaving it in the pocket.
