Well it was a busy weekend here in SWFL. They matched up Saturday and Sunday (yesterday) while Shane was in town for the Challenge of Champions. He was here all weekend and I met him. I was just talking with Justin for a quick minute and just complimented him on a great comment about some BS comment someone made that he had replied very well to on F Book. Super nice guy.
He played the local women a game for free. Lol. He offered 9 ball he breaks and the opponent needs one ball, any ball in rotation for $100 a rack. Lol. Nope.
Justin and Shane played $500 a game and ended up even or close to on Saturday. This a a very nice and tight table, Diamond Pro Am and I think shimmed. You better roll them right.
Anyhow on Sunday they played 6 ahead even for $5K. Justin won it after about 6 hours I believe. I think there was about 60 people watching that match. Some very long battles over one final ball.
Anyhow, wish I had actually been there but had a 32 person tourney Saturday to run, do cue repairs and play in. Ugh I'm still tired... 1992 US Open Winner Tommy Kennedy played in my tourney. It was a fun time and he was hill hill once with a buddy of mine but I could've gotten to the hill but dogged it each time. I play once a week maybe twice. Lol. He played great as always.
Anyhow, crazy weekend.
Me shooting the 9 on TK. I really hate the red "carpet" btw.
