SVB Visits Deaf Children in Denver

NOT to take anything away from SVB, But let's not forget who's idea and 'promo' this was! Without ML, this never would have happened. Kudos to BOTH of them!

This so true. Melissa organizes many charity events for those in need and is always thinking of ways help motivate those less fortunate. She doesn't get enough recognition for her efforts, nor does she seek any, which makes it even cooler. She just thinks it's the right thing to do. Thanks, Melissa!

However, Shane loved doing it as well and deserves much of the credit. If he opted not to make the appearance it would not have happened - Good idea or not. He seems to always be willing to do the right thing and that's why we love him.

Also, thanks for all the nice rep points many of you have given me for posting this thread. It was unexpected and much appreciated. I'm glad you all liked the post.

This should be on the front page of every Billiards site on the net.
I really hope they sent the press release to as many places as possible.
It would be nice for the local paper in his hometown to run it as well.

Kudos to Melissa and Shane !!

It probably was

most rewarding for Shane and Melissa. Great for the sport and the kids.

This is very refreshing to read. I was getting a bit depressed reading nothing but news about pool promoters stiffing players, sanctioning bodies fighting, pro pool players forced to work non pool day jobs, drama between DH/JS and players dumping their backers.

WELL DONE MELISSA AND SHANE!

This is AWESOME! I know there are other players that do their part also but we need to expose these great things to the public and let it be known that not all pool players ar drunk, gamblers that only think of themselves. This is what our sport needs more of and it has inspired me. Great job guys, I think you may have just evevated pool to new level. THANK YOU,
