SW Cue ID by the Number?

Thinking about getting a Southwest cue. It only has the three digit number and cactus. Thought they also had a two digit number to indicate the year. The only one I had, had both. Seller assures me he bought it new from SW. Is this the newer numbering system? Trying to determine the year.

320-16 would be the 21st cue made in 2016 & the 🌵
 
Numbering starts at 300.

Cue # - last 2 digits of year

Pin 300-16 is 1st cue made in 2016
Pin 301-16 is 2nd cue made in 2016
Pin 316-16 is 17th cue made in 2016 and so on.

Someone wanted to sell me a cue that only has the three digits, none for the year. Said he had the receipt from when he bought it new. Anyway I'm steering clear of this one. Thanks for the input.
 
Have you thought about asking for a picture of the pin, and copy of the receipt and independently verifying it with Laurie at Southwest?
