Switch Brand Tables

An 810 Billiards and Bowling franchise just opened in my area. They have a dozen or so Switch brand tables. I can find NOTHING online about the brand. They seem very solidly built, even having a heavy gauge steel plate base. Anyone know about the brand? Anyone have any experience with the franchise as well?

Are you sure about the Switch brand pool table name, never heard of them? Where is this located? Just curious, are they 7, 8 or 9 foot or a mixture?

Tables in Conway, S.C are Metros

There are several other locations. It looks like the tables in Houston are also Brunswick Metros.

Years ago when I lived in Billings Mt one of the pool halls had all red covered pool tables , I only played there on league nights and haven't been back in there since .

I'll admit I do miss the gold colored cloth of the Corner Pocket tables when they were still open .

Here is the table in question on their FB page (should open for anyone even if no account). It looks to me like a typical Chinese private label table that an importer came up with the brand name "Switch".

Play and enjoy while it's new and nice. Most likely in 1 year the cloth will be all ripped and stained with coke, no chalk will be in the house, and the house cue tips will all be replaced with slip on tips because the mgmt doesn't know anything about pool. That's how every one of these "non-pool hall" type entertainment places I've ever been to end up.

That's the one in my first picture above. I referred to it as a "UFO."

I had to do a double take it looked different when I first saw it. Is UFO the name of the factory? I never heard of that either.
No, I was teasing. It stands for Unidentified Flying Object. The legs made me laugh. They look like supports on a Lunar Landing Module or an orbital docking station. Everybody is trying to make a "statement."
