my favorite style of cues are the szamboti looking stuff. barry doesnt take orders and gus's are even rarer. who else besides mottey and white make a szamboti looking cue. pics would be great and let's not make this a copyright thread or anything like that.

I saw the searings on luckys site and I am still wiping up after the mess. nice stuff.

How about John Showman? I didn't know Lucky had Searings on his site, I'll have to check it out.

There are a few out there who can make Szamboti-styled cues... Bill Schick and Bill McDaniel immediately come to mind. I had a Szamboti-style cue done by Andy Gilbert but had him incorportate his own touches as well:

Mike, I love Szambotis and the Szamboti-inspired stuff, as well. It's great to see when a cuemaker will take something like that look and then make it their own. The look is simply classic and IMO the essence of class.

It's just flat out tough to be something like this for looks.....

I've got a Szamboti peacock based cue in the works but with my own spin on it. It should be done sometime this year. I've not posted the inlay design that I've come up with because I didn't want to see a cue with it before mine is finished...lol. It might be close enough to completion for me to post it but I'll have to think about it.

Paul Mottey
James White
James White

Hey, even Barry was inspired by his dad!

I like the fact that they all go together so well in the pic.
