There is a tournament at ShakeSpears Saturday and Sunday T-Rex, David Grossmen, Danny Medina and other recognizable faces to square off for the 5000 dollar added tournament it should be a nice turn out T-Rex is a lot bigger in real life. Boy would I hate to stiff him :p

Tony Chohan is a cutey pie. He reminds me of my black lab puppy, full of play and a delight to be around. Tell him I said so and watch him smile!:p

Now that you've told us about this tournament, I'm hoping to get a full update! Pictures would be nice. :)

Tony was at Table Stakes last night. The only problem was that word got out before he even walked in the door. The best One Pocket player in there at the time ask for 8 to 4 and Tony said no, However he did play cards. There was a champion bar box player named Mike (last name) who Tony would not play either Through out the night 4 or 5 really good players came in.

who? names!

I think Mike will beat Tony on a bar box. Big table tony has the nuts.

I used to play all the time at Shake's and met Danny Medina one time at a tournament. Really nice person. The owner of Shake's, Jerry Karsh, sold me a Dufferin house cue for only $10 bucks cuz I really liked it and since then I've won a few tournaments with it. THANKS, JERRY!

And please relay to Jerry and crew, especially to Tom R. and Mike H., that Terry in GA says 'hello'.

Jam. It is totally unhygenic to allow a puppy to run around in your lab, whatever colour you've painted it. The germs will still be there even if you can't see the paw prints.

it undoubtedly is Mike Helmer...

IIRC I think I played a little bar table league match against him one time. I won the toss and came up dry on the opening break. Then shook his hand at the end.

Sorry guy's it was Mark Haddad not Mike He placed Second a guy from Dallas placed first Jui Chen correct me if i'm wrong he beat Haddad 11-5 Shane placed third Haddad and T- Rex Tony had to play each other, let's just say Haddad won before it started. Shane keep on giving people all kinds of games. He would miss the four ball and just start racking. It was insane on his part. He just lossed heart in the end. On Friday Night he beat Jui out of 2000 at table Stakes and lose 4000 to Tony. He told me that Tony just keep on make crazy shots to get out. Thank Walter :)

I have seen many a player concede balls during a match. I'm not sure if it's because they are trying to break the other player's stroke and/or momentum. I've seen champion-caliber players miss straight-in shots on the money ball, and if it were me, I'd make them shoot every single ball in the pocket, even if it's a duck.

Congratulations to Mark Haddad for coming in second! Usually a West Coast player, I met him for the first time at this year's Super Billiards Expo. Interesting that Tony Chohan wants no part of him! :p

Thats only because it was probably Mark's turn. They are road dogs.

You can't judge a book by its cover. Nor his smile. They don't call him "The Snake" for nothing.
