T3 shaft?

Has anyone used a T3 shaft and what do you think of it compared to an OB-1 shaft?

I was going to look into a custom cue maker making me a cue with two OB-1 shafts. I wanted to get both diameter shafts the 12.75, and the 12.5, because I like the way the OB-1 shafts play.

When I talked to the cue maker he was all about the T3 shafts and how much better they were, etc, etc. He was basically trying to talk me out of the OB-1 shaft.

So I want to know if anyone has played with the T3 and how great or not great they might be.

i have one on my break cue. breaks solid. a friend of mine in singapor has one on his playing cue says it's hard to move te cueball around with it. he uses it as a break cue. he thinks there might have been a mixup with the shaft he got being a break cue shaft.

Hey thanks for the reply. I am interested to find out if anyone else has any opinion on this matter. I haven't found any shaft yet that I like better than the OB-1 shaft, but maybe someone else in here can give me more incite to this T3 shaft.

I have a friend who has 4-5 of his cues. He won't let me hit with them so I really cant tell you how it feels. Though, he plays exclusively with Arnot's cues/shafts. Not sure if this helps one bit.

I knew Arnot was using these shafts and he makes really good cues, I just didn't know what people thought of these shafts compared to the other low deflection shafts out there.

One of the many good things about the T3 is that it is a custom make shaft. You choose the dimensions..ferrule type and size, length, taper, and the shaft size at the joint, plus any tip you want.
