Table alignment/setup aids

Does anyone have suggestions on where I might find practice/alignment aids for my home table? I've seen some YT vids with gridline stickers on the rails. Would like to purchase some if they are available.

Also - I'd like to draw some lines on my home table to assist with keeping the racks aligned. I know I can use a super fine Sharpie, but curious if there might be a better option?

Thanks in advance,
Rick

Find some recent threads by Denwit here on this forum. He has a projector that projects any image you want on the table with no permanent markings. It's actually a pretty cool practice aid for drills and such, and I'm sure he can tell you all about it.

Fabric Pencil for marking cloth. I wouldn't use sharpie...MAYBE I would for 14.1 rack area,if I played it ever.

Is the grid line stuff a tape?

Thanks for the tip. I'll check those threads out!

I use a black sharpie to draw a line from about 3" above the dot to about 3" below where the rack would end. I then use a silver sharpie to mark the triangle (all 3 edges on both sides) so you can put it on the line when racking. I used a laser sight the first time for the cloth and now don't need it when I redo it.

I use 3 levels (6", 24" and 48"). Small one is only used by the pockets at many different angles and the rails. You could get the very expensive engineer levels if you want to be really picky.

Here you go: projectorprobilliards.com You can order their micro computer and projector for about $600 or so. Then you will be set forever. I'm doing patterns over and over. Once I get done with that, I'll press one button and horizontally shift the pattern over or put it on the other end. Super nice and this is just the beginning.
