table camera issues

I have installed a digital camera for streaming a live cam above 1 of my tables, and my camera is picking up so much white light that you can not see the balls. I have tried to adjust it but i cant. Someone told me about something that goes in pool light to illiminate the part of the light that henders the brightness. Does anyone know how to resolve my problem?

Harold... Is that camera sitting above or below the bottom of the light? Have the camera set above the light.

When you get in front of the camera, your clothing will reflect on the lens, also. Wear dark clothes. That helps, a little.

Just a couple of tips I know of. There are some other good ideas. For instance, have the other lights in the room turned off. Don't aim toward a window in the daytime. Etc....
