I hate to tell you this, but if that table only has a 1/2" thick slate in it, it's going to cost you more to take it to the dump than the table is worth, so trying to sell it is going to get no responses here on AZ, let alone any trades of high end cues;)

Pictures confirmed what I already said, sorry:) Paper finish on the rail skirts over partical board, partical board rails and legs, you must not have ever had the table recovered, or you'd have found all this out by now. I doubt the rails are held on the table by anything other than lag bolts screwed right into the wood of the rails, but...I could be wrong;)

Glen

Listen i just got the table and has not been reclothed and no the rails aint held on with lag bolts as you described and dose not have a paper finish. Got to love you people that talk down on your treads.

You just got the table, and you're already looking to resell it? Why, never mind...you don't have room for the table, probably got it for free, and now you're thinking you can find some one to actually give you some money or a high end cue for it...OK then, best of luck to you, can't blame you for trying I guess:D

Nate, take a look at the picture with the name "Foremost" in it, do you see down at the bottom of the side skirt, where it's all chipped off, see the wood showing through?...That's particle board, do you also see how shinny the finish of the side skirt is? That's the reflection of the light off the paper finish of the skirt. Do me a favor will you, take some pictures of the "Legs" of the table, then some pictures of the frame "Under" the slate of the table, then post them like you did the others:) lets see if that frame is particle board as well;)

Glen

the frame aint particle board for sure. Is there a problem for buying used tables and reselling them?? just like buying a cue and reselling it!! Again got to love the people that talk down on your threads!!!

Can I see that in the next set of pictures I asked you to post please? What kind of frame is under the slate if not partical board...plywood?...I just want to see it for myself, don't forget the pic's of the legs...OK?

Don't send me Pm's to get me to back off on this table...OK? Just post the pictures I asked you for, and then when everyone can see for themselves the real makeup of this table, then I wouldn't feel so bad for them at a later date when they call a billiards technician to come and recover the table then hear the words..."Look, my charges are worth more than the table's worth, so I can't justify recovering your pool table, maybe you should call someone else" See, the problem here is, if you were trying to pass off a "Willie Mosconie 7 piece adjustable weight cue" for being something of "Value" I think everyone on this site would have something to say about that...because if there's one thing it seems everyone on here knows...and that's "cues":D but when it comes to pool tables, most are at a loss unless it's some kind of pool table they can all relate to...like most of the major brands of pool tables, but they're ALL smart enough to know what a junk table is...if they see it in the pictures, because the pictures don't bullshit anyone! You're trying to make a fast buck, which is fine...that seems to be the way of a lot of people these days...but I saw it, and called it...bullshit!

Post the pictures, and I won't say another word;)

Glen, the "Realkingcobra"

PS. There's probably 50 other sites on the enet you can post the for sale on, I'm only on AZBilliards, as I don't waste my time with any other website, so when I see things like this, I guess I take it personal;) maybe I shouldn't...but I still do;) and it's not you personally, I'd guess I'd jump anyone selling this kind of junk on AZ, because I'd like to believe that this is a better website than that:D

You will have better luck selling this table on ebay or craigslist. I would say no more than 200-400 dollars, if you find the right person.

You may also want to consider donating it to a boys club or something and take a tax writeoff.

Good luck

Glenn gets props for calling a spade a spade.

I suggest Craigslist too. Its free and you might just get a sucker...er i mean buyer there.
