The best site/program for making diagrams is, in my opinion, cuetable (aka pool.bz,
or wei's site, or wei tables).
Here's a step-by-step for making a diagram and putting it up on the forum.
This is for windows but Mac can do it too.
It looks like a lot but only because I try to over-explain it so everyone can do it.
1. Go to http://pool.bz or if you want to diagram on a barbox, http://pool.bz/BarCueTable.php
2. Draw your diagram.
• Drag balls onto the table where you want them.
• Double click a ball to draw a line coming from the ball. Click once while drawing the line,
if you want it to change direction. Double click to stop drawing it.
• If you mess up the line, stop drawing it, then click the wrench icon at the bottom left to
access all the tools. Then click "Delete 1 line" button, 4th from the left.
• If you want to make the line curved, first draw the path of the ball "roughly" by
moving the line in one direction, clicking once, then changing direction and double clicking.
• To make that sharp turn into a smooth curve press H. You'll see a ghost ball where the line
changes direction. Hold shift on the keyboard and click the ghost ball and it smoothes into a curve.
• Move balls off the table if you don't need them, click that "Delete 1 line" button too.
3. Once you're done, get a screenshot of your diagram.
Method 1: In the row of tools along the bottom, click the Camera icon to get
your screenshot. Nothing will happen but you should hear a 'click' sound.
Now open any image editing program like photoshop or MS Paint.
In windows you can get to paint by clicking the
start button/orb at the bottom left of your desktop,
then typing "paint" into the empty box at the bottom of the start menu. Press Enter.
Then press ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste the image.
Now press ctrl+S to save it somewhere, like your desktop.
Method 2: If using windows, click the
start button/orb at the bottom left of your desktop. Choose "Snipping Tool".
Drag the mouse from the top left corner of your pool table diagram to the bottom right.
The screenshot will pop up and you can press ctrl+S to save it somewhere, like your desktop.
4. Upload your diagram to an image-sharing website.
I think
http://www.imgur.com is the best one. Go there, click the "Computer" button
at the top right of the page, and browse to the screenshot you just saved and highlight it, click OK.
Then click "Start Upload". After a second it will show your uploaded picture.
A bunch of links are showing on the right side. One of them says
"BBCode (message boards & forums)". Under it is a link to your picture.
Double click the link to highlight it, right click, choose "Copy".
5. Post your image to AZbilliards.
Make a new post, click in the box where you'd normally type something,
and right click and choose "paste". You should see the link appear,
it will look like this except the letters+numbers at the end will be different.

Type whatever you want to say about the diagram, above or below this link.
Then submit your post. You're done!
