Table vacuum

Festool vac works great

I am a table mechanic and Vacuum tables with a Festool Hepa vac with an extra long hose. This vacuum has a variable speed allowing you to turn up or down the amount of suction you want.

The vac can sit in between and both tables can be vacuumed without moving the unit.

Make sure you Dont use a rotating beater brush as it pulls the fine threads out of the cloth!!

I use a wide nozzle with fine bristles make even passes down the table, then use the crevice tool for under the rails.

Try to make your passes at an even speed each time for best results.

If you vacuum your tables daily you can almost double the life of the cloth plus you dont have a blue hand after a couple of racks..

$750 approx for vacuum, extra long hose and attatchments, but
maybe less that was years ago

Good Luck

Can I suggest...if you are going to buy a quality vac get one with a good micron rated dust bag. Dust will go right through the filter on a shop vac or paper bag type dust collection system.

That's great info, thanks Gordon. Everyone is obviously saying don't use a vac with a brush. Just goes to show that all these years I've been using a small dirt devil that has a rotating brush on it lol. Oh we'll, live and learn
