These are what I used for my single-car garage. Bought them from Home Depot. I didn't really do it for sound deadening, though -- I did it more for comfort of not walking on concrete all the time. But they do work great.I've seen those 24x24 interlocking foam squares used on the floor. Noise shouldn't be too bad unless you are trying to use the break speed ap.
They make thick, sound deadening insulation. I had some in my machine shop. Pro tip: the ceiling is more important than the walls.
Carpet on the walls works perfectFor those who have table in your garage, have you found a way to deaden the sound so the echo isn't so terrible? Also, what kind of coating did you use on the concrete? Not looking to put carpet.
I also used the interlocking foam squares when I had a table in the garage. I wan't worried about noise that much, but was a lot easier on the body than concrete.I've seen those 24x24 interlocking foam squares used on the floor.
