Tables in garages

For those who have table in your garage, have you found a way to deaden the sound so the echo isn't so terrible? Also, what kind of coating did you use on the concrete? Not looking to put carpet.

I've seen those 24x24 interlocking foam squares used on the floor. Noise shouldn't be too bad unless you are trying to use the break speed ap.
They make thick, sound deadening insulation. I had some in my machine shop. Pro tip: the ceiling is more important than the walls.

These are what I used for my single-car garage. Bought them from Home Depot. I didn't really do it for sound deadening, though -- I did it more for comfort of not walking on concrete all the time. But they do work great.

I love the sound the balls make, if I could make it louder, I would lol. And as far as the concrete, I just found a big area rug to go under my table. Eventually I’ll get carpet tiles to go around the perimeter of the rug, but I’m content atm

I also used the interlocking foam squares when I had a table in the garage. I wan't worried about noise that much, but was a lot easier on the body than concrete.

Local VFW used to be a machine shop. Concrete floors. Got flooded 2 years ago.
Lots of discussion about how to re-do the floor. Came down to using one of those
garage floor paint (epoxy?), systems with the hand tossed 'chips' that help prevent
slips and help with traction. Hardly any wear showing, even by the main door.
