tad cue questions...

i have the chance to buy this tad... was wandering what yall think.. cue is 58in long with two shafts..i wander if anyone knows about what year it was made under bumper numbers are 2535...cue needs to be refinshed but really nice looking cue... it has 5 venners one is white looks like ivory but doubt it...cue has a very small roll out at werer forearm meets the wrap...is getting better with new climate but still not perfect...any ideas of what cue might be worth would help...here are some pics.. thanks mickey carroll

With that serial number, I would guess that the cue was made around 2003-2004. That's just a guess. I can't comment on the worth, but with the roll out I can say that it will need to be significantly undervalued. Call TAD and talk to Fred. Find out how much it would cost to repair/replace the forearm. Refinish via TAD Custom Cue will most likely be done by Fred Kohara, they will charge you $250. I know that for certain because I had a cue refinished three months ago. Very rare for TAD to make any cues with Ivory, particularly one that has a TAD logo. Whatever you think is Ivory is most likely something else like Micarta.
 
check with Bill Grassley from cornerstone cues or don sure man
im sure its in the 4000 to 5000 range
