TAD cue $3,400.00
We met with Tad and his son Fred in April, 2012 at his shop in Stanton, Ca. He
Remembered the cue as he had made a billiard shaft for the owner a few years earlier for a Harvey Martin cue, which is included in this listing. Tad said he had
made less than 10 of this model. The cue has the original finish and leather wrap.
We left the cue to have 2 new pool shafts made with ivory ferrules and medium Tad layered tips, the Tad was originally made in the 1960’s the cue is perfectly straight and rolls good with the two new 13mm shafts and the original billiard shaft (which has a 1 1/4”scratch or a thin crack line above the brown joint ring, the shaft hits solid so it’s probably a zipper scratch in the finish.
Cue with the billiard shaft is 56” long and weighs 18.3 ozs. Cue with new pool shafts (which cost $300.00 each, I have the receipt from Tad’s shop) is 58” long and weighs 18.4 with one and 18.6 with the other.

Harvey Martin cue $4,800.00 obo
Originally made in the late 1950’s, all original finish and leather wrap with 2 original shafts and a shorter billiard shaft that Tad made in the 1960’s. The owner was a partner in California Billiards until he retired and very active in the game of Billiards. An identical cue is pictured the last Blue Book in both the color section (which sold for $9,000 with case) and under the cue maker’s section.
Cue with the original shafts is <57” and weighs 19.1 with either shaft, one of the ferrules has a crack. Cue with the Tad billiard shaft is 56” and weighs 18.6 ozs.
The butt has a slight warp, however cue rolls straight. Shafts are straight.

Horn cue $3,200.00
Made in the 1980”s, unique design, original finish with leather wrap, nice ring work, lots of Ivory. One shaft weighs 3.6 ozs and is 12 ¼ mm,
The 2nd shaft weighs 3.9 ozs and is 13mm with a slight warp. Cue rolls straight.
Both shafts have Ivory ferrules. Total length is 58”, either shaft.

Horn cue $4,600.00 obo

Made in the 1980’s, this cue is in 99.9% condition, one shaft has been played with. This cue is one of Horn’s finest works. In Verl’s earlier cues his name is engraved in the ebony butt. Cue weighs 19.5 with the 13 ¼ mm shaft and 19.3
with the 13 mm shaft, total length is 58” with either shaft, both have Ivory ferrules, 1 tip is unplayed . Lots of Ivory, joint, ferrules, inlays, dash rings , 6
points.
