Every time I hear it??? What do ya want to play..."10 balls"

Then you think about it...and there are 8 ball(s)...plural?

Who is phonetically correct?

It's just odd hearing it all the time...I still haven't gotten used to 8 balls, 9 balls, 10 balls.

My wife just mixed up some water based insect killer...I told her to label the bottle bug spray ....something like that....came back it was labeled "Bugs Spray"?????

It's called 10 ball due to the fact that the "10 ball" is the key one to win. 8 ball is not called "15 balls" as you probably noticed. Now if someone asked you "how many balls do you like to play with?" you can say "I like to play with 10 balls" in that case, or "A Villiage People worth of balls".

You're picking on Filipinos who add an "s" to Eight Ball? Lighten up, Francis.

Do you have perfect syntax and grammar in Tagalog? After all, as an expatriate, the expectation is that you can be conversant without butchering it, right?

Phonetically correct has nothing to do with calling it by the correct name.

As to "Bugs Spray".....

Well, you married her so I hope she's good at something.

:)

Mr. Pangit. Your location is Calapacuan, Zambales not Calapcuan, Zambales. How about that Mr. grammar police?

Love the Stripes reference.

8 years in the U.S. Navy - very used to hearing this, no big deal but in the Kings English, maybe not correct but I guess it depends on who your king is.

TCo <<<< just washed my hair but I didn't have time to come them.
