Tail-stock

A second identical 5C spin indexer may be the least expensive alternative, assuming you are not using a Hardinge indexer.

thats a good idea, i have actually been looking for one of the small index tailstocks and there like 100 bucks...might as well just get another index jig for the other end for 45!

That's sound advice, I have a 36 hole spin indexer (chinese) and a Hardinge 24 position indexer too.

I cannot take credit for this idea. Another fine cuemaker on this forum (KJ ???) posted a picture of his set-up with a pair of indexers and I thought it was a very good way to go. At the time I had just bought a Chinese unit ($35) and was looking for a tailstock .... they seemed to run from $75 - $90 :yikes:

Dave <-- not a fine cuemaker, although once I made a jump-cue-that-cannot-jump

5C indexer

I've got a never used enco 5c indexer. If you're interested, let me know and I'll get you a pic and price.
