Taken lessons from any strong player?

Are you sure Efren is slipping? I always thought he was releasing. Slipping is letting go on the way back and releasing is letting go on the way forward.
Yes I am. I will watch for it in a video to refer you to it. Give me some time, please. In the meantime, you might want to look for it if you watch any videos of him playing.

OK thanks, because I've seen him release the cue in the forward motion but never on the way back. I'd be curious to see that.

no one releases the cue in the forward motion in any normal shot as you lose control of it.

I accidentally threw my cue when I broke at the pool hall the other day. I caught it but it left my rear hand. One of my friends got a chuckle out of that. He goes "Did you just catch your cue?" I said "I've got cat like reflexes."

I sometimes get into an almost slip stroke mode, but I've never had that happen before! Man did that break really explode the balls! It was pretty funny, we got a chuckle.

Coincidently, I just saw a cat video today. It showed some very fast cats. They have what are called fast twitch muscles and a flexible back that makes them 3 times faster than humans. Two different cats caught birds flying too close overhead. And one dodged a striking snake. ETC.
