nothing is simonis......simonis is simonis....there is a big difference in any other cloth...well' there maybe one or two other cloths that may be comparable to simonis but they are priced in the same neighborhood as simonis....when it comes to pool table coth and billiard related supplys you pay for what you get....except kamui chalk' LOL

You obviously don't know much about wool blend cloth, as you can see in this thread, people are very happy with the cloth and it plays like Simonis meaning similar to Simonis and is alot more affordable than Simonis.

The Cloth is taking off here in the USA, by the way we will probably be selling out of the cloth at the BCA tradeshow next week.

I do happen to know about pool table cloths...I have installed a shit ton of many different kinds of cloths! I have installed all kinds of different blends at my local pool room to find out in a real world how the cloths play and wear...
I would get real far into detail about wool blend pool cloths but I'm not gonna waste my time'
I'm just here to tell everyone that you pay for what you get when its comes to pool cloth'

I appreciate your opionion, but unless you are a expert on cloth and have experience with our cloth, Understand it really is similar to Simonis and if you would like me to send you a bed to try, send me a PM and i will get a Paypal invoice out to you.

As far as our claim, it is very simple and that's Takini cloth will wear better than most cloth on the market.

Thanks for your Opinion.

Any chance of ordering from the UK? Heard good things about this cloth before seeing this thread. Would definitely like to try one :)

I dont have a problem sending you a bed of cloth to England, however I think the shipping would kill you.

Takani

Looks and feels IDENTICAL to Simonis. Alot of people that have used it say it will wear longer than Simonis.

Yes it is a wool blend.

There is one table with this cloth at Jamaica Joes in Midwest City, Okla. I got on the table and played a few hours. To me it played great, and what I really noticed was my weakest shot, a long draw shot (9 foot table) came alive. I stopped playing and just started drawing balls. It wasn't me it had to be the cloth!?!? I inquired and I think they said someone gave them the cloth to try out. Who knows, maybe it was humid that day or whatever but it sure impressed me. The name was printed on the rail, didn't really care for that. I would put that cloth on my home table for sure. Or maybe I just need to work on my draw shot, cause I doubt this cloth is going to start replacing Simonis!

Truthfully, i am not sure about the shipping to the UK, i would think somewhere around $50-60 US for Global Priority..

Let me know if you would like me to get some sent out to you.

Ever get any 8 ft beds?

Nope, currently it only comes in the form of the 9ft beds. after saying that it would be easy to use a 9ft bed and cut it down to work on a 8ft table. the rails are precut and would work great! not to mention you can save yourself money....

yes he did the manufactor sold multiple brands and products so to save money they just used one bag for all brands, but I actually have a cut of takini and the bag just has the takini logo on it.
