Takini Cloth ( Very Similar to SIMONIS )

Wow talk about a twist,, Chris you need to come clean with "XPLAYHARDX"
Cue or money ,thats low if you really are scamming and dodging people.

I think I paid almost $400 (installed) the last time covered my table with Simonis. I paid a hell of a lot less, this time, using this Takini cloth, and, after seriously playing for about 3 hours last evening on my table, I, (personally) don't care who made it or where it came from. It's quality stuff, and to ME, that's all that matters.

There are people that are going to buy nothing but Simonis, because "That's the stuff"!! People are only going to buy only JB Cases, because of the quality and design, and your reputation as a case maker and straight up businessman. However, there are a LOT of players out here that just plain don't have the $$ to buy one of your cases. If Joe Dokes puts out a half-ass case that looks pretty damn much like yours, and sells it for $79.95, there are a lot of people that are going to buy Joe's case over yours. It has nothing to do with what you do. Yes, in one way, it infringes on your efforts, and hard work.

All I can say is, continue to do what you do. Your work is "TOP SHELF". You've earned your spot. There are just too damn many things going on in the world today to worry about besides "infringement".

Maybe someone will be able to contact the makers of Takini and get a straight up answer about the Simonis emblem. Hell, maybe there IS an affiliation?!

Just my lowly opinion, and you know what "they" say about that!

Well I think the seller should have responded when I asked him the question weeks ago.

I can put up at least five other cloth brands on here that are "very similar" to Simonis.

If I put up ANYTHING and used the SIMONIS logo to sell it then I would get reamed on here. Yet this guy is allowed to get away with it.

It's not about the price. There are tons of cheaper cloth out there that play great. Hell I might start selling cloth from here in China direct mail bagged with rails precut. But I damn sure ain't gonna put it in a package with someone else's logo on it.

I am not saying that someone shouldn't shop around. They should. The cloth on my table cost me $65 for a 9ft cut and $45 to have it installed. It's great cloth that plays good in high humidity as well. But it was advertised as Rapid999 and not as Simonis.

Anyway, I have reported this thread as I think it should be pulled. Let the seller come back when he has fixed the packaging problems and doesn't need to make use of the Simonis logo to sell the cloth.

Update on ripoff

IN LOOKING AT THIS GUYS ITRADER I NOTICE THAT HE HAS ALSO SOLD SOMEONE ELSE A FAULTY CUE. SO LETS BLACKLIST THIS GUY WHY LET HIM MAKE MONEY ON THIS SITE WHEN HE DOESN'T TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRUSTED HIM ON PREVIOUS DEALS. HOW MANY TIMES WILL THE MODERATORS OF THIS SITE LET SOMEONE LIKE THIS GUY CONTINUE TO OPERATE AND RISK GOOD HONEST PEOPLES MONEY?????:angry::angry:
 
Takini cloth is very similar to SIMONIS, this is a true statement. I have it on my table and love it, i have sold 20 or so beds of cloth to people on AZ in which i have yet to get a complaint, yeah you could buy a cheaper cloth for $60 i think one is being made in Columbia now, but you won't find a cloth that is so similar to Simonis than Takini..

As far as the logo on the bag, i am not sure why it is advertised on the bag; i am not a manufacturer just a guy selling the cloth with great success.

As far as me selling counterfeit Predator stuff, thats Absurd.. I have also sold 30-40 Predator retired cues, with again NO COMPLAINTS.

XPLAY, i have tried to help you, and tried contacting a cuemaker about your cue, but your claim is unreasonable, as i have never heard of something like that happening to a cue.

Back to Takini, this cloth is the BEST alternative to Simonis, so if you don't want to pay the high price of Simonis, Takini might be a great fit..

Why don't you provide documentation then that shows that the Predator cues are authentic then?

I can go get all the counterfeit Predator cues I want and start selling them on AZB under Predator's prices. As long as no one asks me to provide a paper trail showing that the cues actually came from Predator I won't get any complaints either.

Given the recent sales of counterfeit Predator cases it's only fair that you are asked and if your stuff is authentic then it should be easy for you to prove it.

As for the Simonis logo maybe you should find out why the Simonis logo is on the bags. That's like someone selling tennis shoes in a "Nike" box. Oh gee, well I never "said" that the shoes were made by Nike, I don't know why they are in a Nike box.

Jeff, just take the guy to court. File suit and be done with it. It's easy to file and you will win. He sold you a defective product, used the internet to do it and probably sent it through the mail. So, go to the police station and file a police report for fraud. Then go over to the courthouse and file a civil suit as well. Trust me, this stuff works. Most people think it's too much hassle and they just let disputes fester until they fade away. Once you get a judgement then it's on his record and you can file to have his ages garnished and have his tax refunds docked.

It's paperwork but what have you got to lose at this point?

You can get 25 testimonials from experienced sellers and buyers on this site who will back you up every step of the way.

Don't jack with him, he's obviously not going to refund the money and take the cue back as he knows he should have.

So what? Do you know what the fees are or how much paperwork is involved in filing a suit in small claims court?

Not much and not much. It's easy to do without a lawyer and most times the filing fees are less than $100. But the JUDGEMENT is real and binding and once a judgement is rendered then the winner can pursue restitution using the police and other state agencies.

As long as people allow others to walk all over them because they don't want to or think that it's too much trouble to file suit then they will get walked on.

Nothing like having a judgement against you to jack with your life when you go to get a job, apply for credit, try to get a passport etc.... this stuff shows up in all the right places more and more as databases get connected and companies mine court data to build their online profiles of people.

Google is your friend. All you need to know is right there.

AND as a BONUS:

When you have a judgement against someone you can SELL it to any number of companies for up to 50cts on the dollar. These companies LOVE to go after people who have lost in court and owe money. Because they can turn a small debt into a large one through the application of fees. It's a shady business but it's the same types that end up throwing people out of their homes for unpaid property taxes and past due mortgages.

People need to learn to USE the legal system that we have as it was intended. And small claims court is just that, to settle disputes without a lawyer but with the law.

Edit: Seems as if you can't sue across state lines. But since Jeff goes to Vegas he can go there and file suit and make it into a vacation when he shows for court to make his case.

All i can say is GOOD LUCK, like i have said many times before, I sold this cue for a friend, i received nothing in return!

As far as me not refunding him, well he has tried to tarnish my name on AZ i have been a member since 2006 and haven't had anything happen like this its obvious when i tried to help a friend out, i get burned.

As far as any refund, i have offered to help him get the cue repaired, which i think is fair, he also has filed a claim thru Paypal, so we will let them sort it out. I feel like i have compromised as to helping him get the cue repaired as that would be money out of my pocket.

The offer still stands to help you repair the cue, thats more than fair after all you have done..

PS: i am still doing business on AZ and since all the not so nice words, i have sold 2 more AUTHENTIC Predator cues, and 4 beds of the Takini cloth which have all been received by the buyers, so be assured i am no scammer.
