anything can be considered a deadly weapon. i could probably kill someone pretty easily with a pair of chopsticks. just because a weapon can kill doesnt mean i'm advocating using it to kill someone. nor did i say that. i said u should be allowed to set them in their place. a simple punch in the face would suffice. never mentioned beating them with a deadly weapon or beating them into the ground. it would seem u're more violent than i am if that was the first thing u thought of when u read my post.
theres also a difference between someone irritating u and destroying something that u spent a lot of money to buy for absolutely no reason. i also didnt say anything about people irritating u either so i dunno where u got that from. if someone took my cue, knowing fully it was mine and destroyed it for no reason, i would be more than irritated.
Me, violent? Not a chance.
As for assault with a deadly weapon, there are laws dealing with that. Chopsticks might qualify, depending on how they're used: imagine someone using them to rupture someone's eyeballs and penetrate his cranium, resulting in death, for example. Besides murder, or homicide, or manslaughter, the perpetrator might also be charged with aggravated assault, or assault with a deadly weapon.
As for "setting someone in their place," that could mean many things, perhaps very legitimate ones, such as persuading them that they were wrong. But moving past that to violence will bring on serious problems.
Regarding "a simple punch in the face" as a way to setting someone in their place, that is most likely illegal, and consequences will probably follow, consequences that could be very upleasant for the assailant.
About "destroying something that u spent a lot of money to buy for absolutely no reason" I'd agree you would likely have cause to be very upset. Asking the fellow to pay for the item is probably the best course of action; cracking his skull in two isn't a good idea.
Why do you think I play with a cheap sneak pete? Not much to lose in case someone destroys it; with a good tip, it plays just fine.
Cheers!
