Original Talisman Cue Case 2 x 4... item is under a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer but still needs repair. After contacting the manufacturer, he explained to me that the floods in Thailand are effecting his ability to honor warranty work, I understood. The bottom has literally fell out on this case, making it almost useless until repaired or the warranty is honored. This case is almost $400. I will give it away for 125 shipped (USA only)

bummer....

Any disruption caused by the catastrophic floods were temporary

Hi Guys,

Its been a long time since I posted here but anyone that knows me or knows of me will tell you that I stand behind my products 100%.

I am not sure who the OP is but if he would like to contact me again I am sure we can get the problem resolved. The floods in Bangkok near the end of last year were disastrous, the Talisman factory was under more than 2 metres of water for nearly 8 weeks. The homes of many of my staff were submerged for the same period. It was impossible to actually get near to the factory during that time other than by boat and impossible for me to produce or repair anything.

The floods have now receded and most of the clean up done. So Sins07 let me know who you are and I'll get the matter resolved.

Tony.

I have had two talisman cases....and unfortunately the bottom fell out of both of them. I contacted Tony and he sold me the second one at cost because it was cheaper than paying freight to and from Thailand to have original one repaired. I really liked the second case which was the tribal one, but like I said the bottom fell out of that one too. Be patient and I'm sure Tony will take care of you.

Could you explain why you think the bottom fell out on these cases and what could have been done to correct the problem? I am just curious, not trying to stir the pot and if a PM is more appropriate please send one and I will keep it confidential.

Basically the wooden plug in the bottom was just nailed in through the side of the case and the nails sheared off. I repaired the last one myself with just some stainless wood screws. Love the case besides that.

I'm disappointed to hear about the bottom falling out as i just ordered a black 2x4 Tribal case (I really wanted brown, ooops... :embarrassed2: ) but after a lot of reasearch during my quest for a case it sounds like Tony will take care of you. He really wants to keep his customers happy.

Best Of Luck

Brian :)

I haven't had any problems out of mine yet, and the double shoulder straps are very handy to have on a case..

I have had a talisman tribal 3x5 case for years. I love it!! Very good case I love the design. It is a very good design and nice tooling. Good leather. I had always liked the instroke cases, but really just got so sick of seeing them, I wanted something of good quality with a different look. The style of this case appeals much more to me.

I had worn down the rubber feet on mine. Sent the owner an email about getting new ones. He sent them to me for free. Good service and good communication.

Now, the best testimony I can give is that one night about a couple years ago, my fully loaded 3x5 case fell off the back of my motorcycle. I must have been going at least 45 MPH. I had a tag with my info on the case and had the cues returned. All the cues were perfectly fine. The case had the slightest scuffing that you can only notice if you look for it. The case still sees very regular use.

So, a very nice looking, well made case that did what it was supposed to do, protect the cues inside. What else can you ask for?

Tony, feel free to use my story as another example of a satisfied customer.

Thanks
