talk about someone being lucky. A friend of mine named Tommy who deals in antiques and collectables went to a garage sale/ estate sale. did not really see anything he wanted and asked if they had anything else for sale. the man said come look in the basement. there in the finished basement was an original gold crown II that had been well taken care of. the table was originally set up in an old pool room named cue tyme which has long since been closed. so my friend tom asks the man how much he wants for it. the man says he can have it for $300.00 along with all the accessories including the wall rack to hold 12 cues. Plus all the balls still in their original box. So tom pays the man the $300.00 and then pays the local room owner $250.00 to take it apart and move it for him. table was in perfect condition. the rails were like brand new. i tested the rails for tommy. what a bargain he got. now to find a place to put it to play on it. what do you think. was it a great deal or what...................................................mike
