So what do you guys think about the idea?

Could it work for TAR???????????????

TAR is working with Shooter's in Olathe Kansas to try and produce a big one pocket match with Tony Chohan and someone else as an opponent. The names I have heard kicked around so far are Jeremy Jones and Shannon Daulton. Everyone is trying to get something ironed out, hopefully they will pull it off.

I'm a buyer for any 1p that TAR produces. One name not mentioned yet who is a very creative 1p player is Corey D. I had the pleasure of watching him and Efren in a long gambling session at the 2004 DCC (Efren giving 10-8) and I was amazed at some of the moves Corey came up with. He hung tough with Efren throughout the session, and has only gotten better since then. I vote for Cliff v Scott, Corey v Shannon D, and Ignacio "Nacho" Chavez v anyone.

A lot of people underestimate Larry when it comes to one-pocket. They think that all he can do is break hard or something. He's actually a great one-pocket player that never plays the game. He's taken 2nd both times he played the US Open one-pocket (once to Efren and once to Cliff) and he's won numerous one-pocket tourney's elsewhere. When it comes to one-pocket action, he played Clint McCoullough a couple months back but that's all he's really done as of late.

As for other action, games have been offered by Larry (through me) and nothing seems to ever happen. Chris Bartrum and Donnie Mills both have offers on the table if they want to go to Easley, SC and play. Bobby Pickle has an offer if he wants to bet more. And if anyone else wants to make a serious offer about playing Larry, let me know and we can try to work something out.

I like Cliff and Scott, Or Tony C. and Scott. If you can get Shannon to play then I like Shannon against any of these guys. I love watching Efren, but he just steamrolls most whomever he plays. I wanna see some young guns that are established players and gamblers go at it. I wouldnt mind seeing Parica in the mix with them either. He was a big gambler and a still is a great player. I saw him in Pool Sharks in Vegas a couple years ago and Chohan was woofing at him to play but he wouldnt. Would have liked to see that match though !!
