TAR 32: Jayson Shaw Promo

Just saw it on FB. His confidence and demeanor reminds me a little of Shane. Can't wait for this match up.
 
I like what I've seen from Shaw. Looks to be a rising star. If I had to handicap it I would call it a pick 'em matchup. The betting public would probably make Alcano the favorite. From what Shaw said though, sounds like he may have Alcano's number. Should be a good match.

Did you read my whole post? Of course I watched the video, or I wouldn't have known what Shaw said. I said the betting public would probably make Alcano the favorite, and I based that on the fact that he is better known, more experienced and a world champion. It's just my opinion, and I don't think it's a bad one.

People who bet on TAR matches are very knowledgable on the match participants. Shaw is no secret. And Alcano is a mere shadow of his world championship "speed" 7 years ago.
Shaw has been playing every tournament across the country as well as gambling with anyone! He's in dead stroke. Alcano has not been playing nearly as much.
Shaw is the favorite to Vegas and the betting public.
 
Shaw is playing every tournament, winning and placing high in all of them, gambling with anyone on these trips as well. He's shooting world class. He isn't a secret to anyone, including the betting public.
Alcano is a shadow of his former self when he won world championships 7 years ago. He's not playing nearly enough.
Shaw has owned him.

I do not disagree... but early in the process Alcano is more of a name to the "betting" non "pool fan" public. This might be why some betting-pool fans are able to secure a bet on Shaw AND get odds or games on the wire.... so it would appear that he is a secret to at least some in the betting public.... the early bird does get the worm...
 
I am very excited about this match! I give the edge to Shaw but if Ronnie comes with his A game it will be close.
