Tar #35

I don't recall ever seeing Rodney Morris in a TAR match. He is playing great this year and I heard his is often in Vegas. WHy not match him up with somebody?

Rodney was offered to play Shaw but had a date conflict. Alcano took the spot.

I'm open to having Rodney on if he wants to play.

Jose Parica vs Rodney Morris
Jose Parica vs Johny Archer
Jose Parica vs SVB
Jose Parica vs Dennis Orcollo
Jose Parica vs Alex Pagulyan
Jose Parica vs Francisco Bustamante

any of these matches would be great! Jose Parica is overlooked way to much

JCIN, any interest in Jose Parica on TAR or has it ever came up?

just curious because this guy is a pool legend

I dont see Jose playing at the same level as any of those guys you mentioned anymore. Anyone want to speculate on a line between SVB or Dennis playing Jose one pocket or ten ball today?

Ten years ago sure. I just dont see it today though.

Shane vs Dennis race to 100 ten ball or Shane vs Efren long set of one pocket. Either one of these matches would be great!

Shane vs dennis race to 100-120 in 10ball similarly to efren vs strickland. That would be epic and match of the yr.

I remember watching him play some in last years US Open and he played great.

My opinion is Jose Parica is one of the best players to ever live and he had a chance at winning the US Open last year so he must still be playing.. that was last year however.

Just a personal suggestion..

Ok im pulling for him hard.. this guy has tremendous heart and would be a honor just to listen to him on a podcast IMO..

Anyway im a big fan of TAR wish you all the best. thx

Wonder why everyone is just listing US and Philipino players (including me hehe).

Immonen, 2 time in a row US Open winner... neither of those.

DAZ, 2 time in a row US Open winner... neither of those.

I'd like to see a rematch of some of the Mosconi Cup matches, I think Dechaine has some making up to do there, try to bring Mike in vs one of the UK/Eero players and see what happens in a long set.

I would like to see a Taiwanese player on TAR one of these days, but it doesn't seem like JCIN has any interest in them, so I'd say SVB vs Orcollo for The next TAR.

I just dont know any of them. I know of no way to talk to any of them. Most important I dont think very many people who buy our matches know any of them.

I know there are some amazing players from Taiwan. They just do not have any kind of substantial following in the US.

Ever think about a free undercard match before the PPV ? Maybe a few days before to give potential new clients a taste of your stream? Short races of 9 or 10 ball? You could pump up the upcoming PPV with ads and the commentator during the free match. Possibly capture some new clients surfing the net for poolstreams? I dunno , I was at the first action challenge and have been hooked since!

I can get you in contact with a guy who handles Lo Li Wen and a host of Japanese pros if you want. He used to take Akagariyama around as well, but Akagariyama found a new sponsor. Although I am sure he can get into contact with him as well.

I believe Lo is well connected in the Taiwanese pool scene as well.

I wouldn't be able to solve the problem of them having few followers, but if you got Dennis or Shane to play Yang or Chang, I would think their level of play would speak for itself.
