Compliment your viewing experience with up-to-the-minute Shot-by-Shot Statistics at http://www.pool-trax.net/Live.aspx
This page will update stats and score every couple of minutes.

You can also view the Rack-by-Rack Results for this match at http://www.pool-trax.net/Games/MatchDetails.aspx?Mid=2058 (this one doesn't refresh automatically).

A quick at the Balls Pocketed chart (the blue and orange line graph) shows how dominate SVB became between racks 15 and 24 - helping him earn a Break and Run percentage of just over 65% - WOW!

Pool-trax doesn't explicitly list the packages I think, but I hope they would consider
adding that to their stats tracked. You can see the packages pretty easily by looking at the bottom
of the page with the graph, on the right side, which shows the rack-by-rack breakdown.

Look for this image:
9_Ball_Break_and_Run_35x35.png

When you see a bunch of them in a row, count 'em up and that was the highest package ran.
I believe the "Complete control" icon means either a runout off a dry break,
a runout off a scratch on the break, or possibly the breaker safed, got BIH, then ran out.
I wish they'd explain it more clearly!

Yea, I would like to see some clarification on the" complete control" as well. I really like the concept, because obviously perfect pool playing doesn't always mean "break and run"

PoolTrax has a video explaining it. Complete control means your opponent didn't make a ball after the break. A run out after an opponents dry break, opponents foul on break, or making a ball on the break followed by safety play and a run out would be the most common ways. A lucky miss that leaves no shot could also result in complete control of a rack.

If you click on a game with a complete control logo you will see something like

Shane Van Boening completely controlled this rack by:
Pocketing at least one ball with a legal break shot.
Not committing a foul during play.
Not allowing opponent to pocket a ball.

See, those few simple words are all that's needed.
"Complete control means your opponent didn't make a ball after the break."

Where are those few words on the website?
Nobody wants to watch a video when a short sentence will do.

Thanks for the feedback y'all. I'll be adding wording to help explain Complete Control for easier clarification for future new visitors to the site.

CreeDo, I've been trying to figure out how to add packages since I read your post last night. I think I got an idea and hope to add that to the match statistics page in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again for your support and feedback!

You Want Packages? You Got Packages.

Just uploaded the the update to include packages for all the matches we have stats for.

I'll be adding it to the Featured Live Statistics page as well.

Here's a link...

Thanks again all for the feedback to help me make these improvements! :)

Nice... it works great. Can now see packages on every match
I like the one for alex vs. busty:

Alex Pagulayan put together a 3-pack starting on rack #1
Francisco Bustamante put together a 7-pack starting on rack #5
Alex Pagulayan put together a 2-pack starting on rack #13
Alex Pagulayan put together a 2-pack starting on rack #16
Francisco Bustamante put together a 2-pack starting on rack #20
Francisco Bustamante put together a 2-pack starting on rack #23
Francisco Bustamante put together a 2-pack starting on rack #28
Alex Pagulayan put together a 4-pack starting on rack #31

I have another thought, tell me if this makes sense.
If you go to any main event page, you get a plain list of stats.
Then there's a tab that says shot-by-shot statistics, match results & videos.
Then you click that, and there's a "view stats" button.

Since the only option on the "shot by shot statistics" tab is to click that button, maybe we can save
that extra click by just loading all the statistics immediately without the extra click.
Just clicking the tab will bring up the stats immediately. Eliminate the button.

Then, take that one step further... the first tab is basic match statistics with no graphics.
The second tab is advanced match statistics with cool graphics and charts and a rack-by-rack breakdown.
And the packages. And other stuff.

The second tab is the good stuff, the reason people visit your site.
I suspect nobody's really looking for the "low-fi" version of the stats.
Maybe you should do away with two tabs and just show the "full version" of the stats
with graphics and package info right off the bat. Put everything on one page.

I wanted to remove the extra clicks as well - you're right, it'll take two extra clicks to get to the good stuff. However, some events have multiple matches, for example the Texas Open, where I have stats from different matches from many players that played on the TV table. Clicking on a player name here from the event page does bring up more info.

On formats like this TAR event where there is only one match per "Event" (calling TAR 37 8-Ball / TAR 37 9-Ball their own event for the Pool-Trax purposes) I'd like to remove the extra clicks but haven't found a way to do it effectively yet.
