TAR: Darren Appleton Perfect Practice 2 Presented by Predator Cues

He was saying the video is good because it covered that stuff. That’s why the post ends with "good job Appleton ".

Yes, he was knocking the secrets videos and that is what I was referring. That's why I included his "Secrets of Pool" quote.

So you obviously haven't seen the videos, because that is basically what they cover, and then some. So not sure where that came from?

If you're gonna quote me in a public forum, please don't do it out of context.
You edited some of my post when you replied (and didn't indicate with ellipsis)
Bad form.

I'm honestly not sure how taking the paragraph out made your fully quoted statement out of context.

That said I should have indicated I removed some text, my apologies.

I have no questions about the quality as i'm sure that's going to be perfect, would of like a little bit more of a trailer though. I feel like i'm going into it kind of blind.

The video in a nutshell is Darren setting up and running through drills. As he does the drills he explains what he is trying to do on the shot/position whatever the drill calls for.

Some drills have different levels of difficulty depending on how you do them. Example: Pro speed can't use any rails for position, amateur can use one rail that kind of thing. All depends on the drills.

Before the drill Darren explains what the purpose of it is and what area of the game it is trying to develop. You see things like a drill he does to warm up before a match as well as many more. There are fourteen drills in the video.

Thanks for the reply

I don't want to come over out of context so please take lightly
As you know there are tons of instructional stuff out there, so i've always been kind of a skeptic. It's usually all the same stuff (mostly) just another persons version of it sometimes, that's why I kind of like to see a bit more of what i'm getting into. Now since this support Darren i'm more than willing to support it. Now since they say it doesn't hurt to ask (which is not true, i'm been slapped a few times and even had a few brawls for the things i've asked certain people for "joke"), i'm going to do exactly that.
I did not pick up the first one (forgot all about it to be honest) do you, are you planning on doing a "get part 1 & 2 for ____" type of thing for those like myself who have missed the first part?

IMO. The first drill alone is worth the cost of the video. It's simple in it's concept and also very clever. I've personally never seen it before and I can see it being beyond useful.

If you can complete these drills then you can play. These drills are tough leaving me plenty of room for improvement.

The first video covered the fundamentals and some basic as well as advanced drills. The second series is more advanced drills and covers some kicking drills. I hope he can do a video that will include safety drills as well.

I would love to see an instructional video from a pros perspective on the use of BHE, FHE and Parallel english. When you ask someone how they played a shot and the say " I used high right". That is only part of the answer I am looking for. I personally use FHE and parallel on some shots. Interested in what pros use and do they change for specific shots.
