I'd like see that but I'd rather see a race to 100 10-ball...winner breaks and NO jump sticks. Bar Box pool gets voted down for TAR by player's on here that call them toys or worse. Funny, when they stream a big BB tourney or big BB money action match 2000 people watch it. A lot of those same people are the ones on here saying BB is not pool. Johnnyt

I'd like to see a rematch of the classic Reyes-Strickland Color of Money match...9 ball race to 120 over three days...on a 9 or 10 footer, not BB.

I don't understand why it hasn't been done before. Why doesn't espn have bar box 8ball or just 8ball. Most casual players play 8ball. Maybe there would be a good demand for it. TAR should do it.

With the right players I'd watch it. There was a lot of talk about making the game too easy with the basic diamond... I say let's up the ante and go to real extremes. Barbox 9b, diamond smart table with default pockets, magic rack, break from anywhere (with soft break allowed). Let's see someone finish the race to 100 in five innings :P

I have to admit that I'm a BB snob...absolute snore-fest but 2000 because it's free. Period full stop. It would have to be Efren vs.Jesus with Mosconi as special referee to make this worth while for TAR.

I love my one pocket and straight pool but I'm not delusional enough to think that the general public would make this pay for Justin.

I enjoy 8-ball as well, and would watch a big match on 8' or 9' tables, but I'm just not a fan of the barbox.

Just in case anyone missed it:

TAR 33
April 19-21, 2013

Alex Pagulayan
vs
Francisco Bustamante

8-ball race to 20
One pocket race to 8
10-ball race to 27

Accu-Stats has shown the viability of pre-payment to fund an action match with their "make it happen" series. If enough people are willing to pre-pay for a race to 100 bar box match, I'm sure someone will get it together (Accu-Stats, TAR, others??).

How about the match that was supposed to happen but never did. Jesse v Shane bb race to 100. I would prepay.
