Tascarella ring

Any cuemaker that uses the same brown phenolic as Tascarella?
I need a ring to match my 314 shaft but my local cuemaker failed twice!

I would be happy to have Oliver Stops put on a ring for you, but as mentioned, exactly
matching phenolic color and weave is pretty much not going to happen. It does look pretty
close to what Oliver uses:

Alternatively, don't try to match it at all, just put on a thin white collar.

Brown can not be matched unless you have material from the same lot run.

It is not the CM's fault. All you can do is try to match as best you can. I have 4 different browns in stock and can get close on a lot but matching perfect is not going to happen without luck.

If Pete will not do other shafts maybe he can supply you with a matching color????

I would go with D-D's idea, as Rick says, it's really hard to match up brown phenolic.

Have you tried to buy a piece from the original cue maker ?

Pete won't sell it but if you ask him to make a predator blank to match the cue he made he most certainly does that.....

A piece from the same rod has a good chance to not be a match.
