a while back in one of the apa threads someone mentioned they hated team leagues and wished there were individual player leagues. i just tossed that thought aside at the time but after playing in our 9 ball cities this weekend i think that idea may have some merit.
i am dissapointed our team sucked so bad. after 2nd thought maybe it is a blessing in disguise we did not do any better. i would hate to go to vegas and get embarassed lol.
it seemed like every player on our team except for me and one other player did their best to lose.
i know there are days when you just dont have it or some people just dont play well under pressure.
what really irked me was when our 5 got ball in hand needing just 2 points to win the game and also the match and he misses his 1st shot on a ball hanging in the side pocket with ball in hand ! sheesh !!
i got a better shot at going to vegas through the singles than i ever do with this team. i made it to 2nd place this year in the regional singles in nashville. no one to blame for not getting 1st but me. when you play on a team you got to deal with crap like a s/l 5 missing a hanger in the side with ball in hand.
i know he probably felt pretty bad about that and i did not say anything but i think the look on my face when he missed said plenty.
just had to vent. maybe i am taking this thing too seriously.
