I hooked up a few years ago.
Being a techno-idiot, made lots of unwarranted assumptions
When I connected, the TV indicated that I had made a computer connection. Picture was all washed out.
Nobody could give me a reason, and I assumed that it was just the quality of the source - youtube.
Time goes by, and I had cause to go looking in my TV manual.
It showed a button for A/V on the remote
I hadn't seen it on my remote and assumed that I didn't have the feature.
It was hidden under a flip-up cover.
Didn't know there was a flip-up cover.
Amazing improvement - HDTV far better than computer monitor.
