Yes, I prefer to win. I don't exactly hate it when I lose though, because I was playing pool.
I think it really depends on a person's definition of "hate".
I'd love to have a person like the one in the photo below, walk into a pool room I was in at
the time, and come up to me and say. "Hi, Care to play some cheap Nine-Ball?"
