Thats really all you are doing with a triangle, the triangle just makes it quicker.

I can't stand template racks. Makes the game too easy, especially for pro 9-ball.
I love pro tourneys with triangle racks. So much more randomness/unpredictability, old school clusters, dry breaks, and drama.
