Using my threading tool with the threading bit shown below and mounts for your router or dremel will make very accurate threads.

I like your solution to threading on the desktop lathes. Unless you're using a custom cut tap to match the grooves cut by the slitting saw, I'd suggest using a proper v-form thread mill.
 
Brilliant idea. You should patent it asap though, because im sure there will be people copying it very soon.

Very nice solution for cutting threads on a taig style lathe. Kudos, sir. Can you tell us what the length of thread cutting is? And while you mention 5/16-18 threads for ferrules, it will also work for any 18 tpi threading job, such as 5/8-18 for joint installations from Atlas.

I would like to see this with an interchangeable bolt and threaded insert, so I could use just one base and have multiple inserts on that base. Again, great job, sir.
 
Questions

Question: Can the threader cut different 18 tpi sizes?
Answer: Yes, with the right shank cutter and router setup you can cut larger 18 tpi threads.

Question: How is my router mounted?
Answer: The router bracket slide hole is to high to allow perfect alignment of the bit to the router to the headstock. So I milled and drilled new hole in the bracket to center on chuck.

Question: Does the Eloh tool come in 3/8-10
Answer: Yes.. I have just finished the new 3/8-10 tool. They are for sale now.

Question: Can the Eloh threader cut internal threads in ferrules
Answer: Yes, I have just finished making the Eloh ferrule Holder and it is available along with the other tools.

Thanks to everyone who ordered the tool. I really appreciate the good comments. I make all the tools by hand on my Todd smith lathe and enjoy hearing my tool is helping solve a solution with most cue lathes.
