Jimmy asked me to post this for him awhile ago but it took awhile to get activated, so, sorry for the delay. " I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here for all of your support, your kind words and prayers. I was able to read most of the posts and was amazed at the outpouring of support from all of you. I really want you all to know how appreciative I am and how much it helped to get me through such a horrible time. Needless to say I was devasted and walking around zombie-like for much of that time. I still can't believe the attention this situation received. From newspaper to TV and to this forum. From friends to strangers, thank you all very much." Jimmy Wetch P.S. Junior is physically ok but some behaviors show me he's still mentally affected but healing every day. I wish you all a happy and safe holiday filled with joy and TOGETHERNESS.

I am so glad Junior is back with Jimmy. It breaks my heart to learn that he may have been abused while he was gone.

I took the story over to my industry forum, a non-pool-related forum, and you should have seen the posts mount up. When I reported Junior was found, there was an outpouring of happiness. I even wrote to Oprah and Ellen via their website, I was so upset.

Hopefully, as time moves forward, Junior will be back to his old self. With such a loving home, I have a feeling Junior is going to be okay. One thing for sure, Junior is one lucky doggie to have Jimmy and you!

Thanks JAM, you're way too kind! And caring. I have to tell you when I told Jimmy about the Oprah and Ellen thing he just stood there looking at me like I was speaking a different language. After awhile he did manage to say "shut up, really?" Otherwise, just speechless, but very grateful to you for everything you did. Jimmy and Junior are closer than any pet and owner that I have ever known in my life. They even share some of the same traits. When I read in the newspaper that the man who found Junior finally coaxed him with food I thought "geez, just like Jimmy, I can get him to do anything when I put food in front of him too".

LOL! Ain't it the truth! Whenever I cook up a good meal, everybody in the house seems so happy, including my Sammy dog.

It was GREAT to hear that he was recovered. I don't know what I'd do without my little Benji mix mutt. We're almost never apart so I can well imagine how Jimmy must have felt. Have a great Christmas. Jim
