I was saving the Thank yous for my DCC experience post but I can't wait that long. (I ended up getting sick when I got home & it's going to stick around for a few days).
Just like last yr, this year was phenomenal. While the majority of my body hates me, my heart loves you guys for bringing old friends, forum friends, and friendships made at Derby together.... all with great pool 24 hrs a day for 9 days!
Thank you for seeing Tom Ferry's vision and giving us a place to meet and hang out. We sincerely appreciate you allowing us to have that room to ourselves. If it weren't for that room, I wouldn't end up meeting half the folks from the forum that I do.
I live for those 9 days out of the year and I hope it continues for many years to come. One night there was a large group of us at a large table in the bar and Jimmy Mataya asked "so, is this the favorite tournament of the year?". The answer was unanimous.... YES!
Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen each year. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Timberly
